We use measures such as HTTPS, role-based access, audit logs, least-privilege keys, and regular reviews. Payment data is handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store full PANs.

12) Public updates & impact stories

With explicit consent, we may share anonymized or pseudonymized beneficiary updates (e.g., initials, program, funded item). You can revoke consent for future use; prior publications may persist in backups or third-party caches.

15) Changes

We will post updates to this policy and adjust the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified via email or banner.

Cross-Border Payments & Currency Conversion (FX)

For transparency, we maintain records when paying universities or vendors in a different currency. These records may include invoice amount in foreign currency, FX rate used, transfer/intermediary bank fees, total debited in our base currency, and proof of payment (e.g., wire confirmation). We use regulated providers and do not add margin to FX. Where FX or transfer costs would materially reduce benefit, we first seek a local-currency option or confirm with the student before proceeding.
